Overview
The STI-13030FR is a flush-mounted universal stopper rated for fire-labeled applications. Operating at 24VDC, it combines a protective polycarbonate housing with integrated horn and relay output, designed for door hold-open control paired with audible and electrical signaling in access control and emergency egress systems. The low-profile dome configuration fits standard door-frame installations where code-compliant protection of fire-alarm stations, emergency buttons, intercoms, or keypads is required.
Compatibility
The STI-13030FR works with fire-alarm manual stations, emergency intercoms, emergency push buttons, numerical keypads, and electrical light switches or outlets. It is fire-label-rated, making it suitable for facilities requiring fire-code-compliant door control and emergency egress functionality. The universal mounting design accommodates flush, surface, and weatherproof installations on standard door frames and wall surfaces.
Installation Notes
The unit is supplied with sealing gaskets for weatherproof integrity. The optional relay output supports 12–24VDC operation, allowing electrical switching integration into access control logic. The low-profile design complies with ADA dimensional requirements. The polycarbonate cap is UV-stabilized to resist yellowing and maintain transparency in indoor and outdoor environments. The housing threads accept ¾-inch rigid conduit, and mounting plates are available sealed or open depending on application. A non-locking tab is provided but must not be used on fire-alarm applications.
