STI STI-13020CB Universal Stopper with Horn Flush Intercom
The STI-13020CB is a 24VDC-powered universal stopper module combining door control, audible alerting, and intercom integration in a single flush-mount assembly. This accessory protects manual alarm stations, emergency buttons, keypads, and intercom stations from vandalism, accidental damage, dust, and weathering in indoor and outdoor environments. The thick polycarbonate cover and sealed housing handle aggressive conditions without compromising accessibility for authorized users.
Compatibility
Mounts with standard access control and intercom system architectures operating on 24VDC. Fits both surface-mount and recessed (flush) installation configurations. The universal design accommodates multiple door frame types and mounting heights, making it suitable for retrofit into existing security deployments without requiring frame modification. Compatible with emergency pull stations, numeric keypads, intercom transducers, and electric light switches.
Installation Notes
Available in both waterproof and standard enclosure options. The waterproof housing features ¾-inch rigid conduit threads on upper and lower sections, supporting outdoor and high-moisture environments. Internal mounting plate options support sealed or open configurations depending on environmental exposure. Low-profile design meets ADA compliance requirements. Integrated gaskets are included. Optional 12–24VDC relay output is available for remote signaling applications. Do not use the locking tab mechanism on fire alarm stations — this is a safety restriction. Horn version produces 105dB audible notification. Color options available including red, green, blue, yellow, white, and black with optional custom labeling; red units include standard "In Case of Fire" label. Polycarbonate material is UV-stabilized to maintain transparency and resist yellowing over extended outdoor exposure.
