Installation Notes
Mounting requires a standard single gang electrical box with access to wall studs or backing material. Use a 7mm masonry drill bit for installations into concrete or masonry surfaces. Secure the adapter frame with the wall fixings provided. Ensure 9VDC power supply is wired according to the strike and reader specifications for your STI-1219 or STI-1229 assembly — undersizing the power feed will cause reader dropout or intermittent strike operation.
