Description

STI KIT-67 Replacement Glass for STI-6700

Overview

The KIT-67 is a replacement glass component for STI-6700 lock/strike assemblies. This accessory addresses the wear and damage that accumulates on protective glass elements in active access control installations. The KIT-67 is a direct drop-in replacement designed to restore the protective function of the strike assembly without requiring a full unit swap—meaningful cost savings when maintenance is the only issue.

Compatibility

The KIT-67 is engineered exclusively for the STI-6700 series strike units operating at 9VDC. Verify your parent unit is an STI-6700 before ordering; this component will not fit other STI strike families or non-STI systems. Installation requires the existing STI-6700 frame and mounting structure to remain intact.

Installation Notes

Replacement requires access to the mounting frame of the STI-6700. Confirm power is isolated at the access control panel before beginning work. The glass component installs into the existing frame using the original mounting points—no rewiring or reconfiguration of the strike logic is needed. If the frame is bent or corroded, repair or replace the frame before installing the replacement glass to avoid fit issues.
