Description

Hubbell HXJ5EOW SpeedGain Category 5e Jack Universal Office White

Overview

The Hubbell HXJ5EOW is a Category 5e keystone jack designed for terminating twisted-pair copper cabling in commercial and residential network installations. Its SpeedGain technology facilitates faster termination, reducing installation time for integrators. This jack is suitable for use in standard wall plates and patch panels, providing a reliable connection point for Ethernet devices in office environments.

Compatibility

This keystone jack is compatible with standard Category 5e UTP (Unshielded Twisted Pair) cabling. It fits into standard keystone wall plates and patch panels, supporting universal mounting configurations. It is designed for use with 22-26 AWG solid or stranded conductors commonly found in structured cabling systems.

Installation Notes

Termination requires a standard 110-style punch-down tool. Ensure conductors are punched down firmly to establish a solid connection. Follow T568A or T568B wiring standards as required by your network design. The jack is designed for single-port installation within compatible faceplates or patch panels.
