Overview
The N4WNRM16TB is a compact 4-channel network video recorder built for wall-mount deployment in security integrations where NDAA compliance is a procurement requirement. With 16TB of onboard storage and built-in PoE support for up to 4 cameras, it handles 8MP (4K) recording at 30 fps across all channels simultaneously—meaningful when you need forensic-grade detail without requiring a separate network PoE switch. H.265 compression cuts storage overhead roughly in half versus H.264, extending retention periods across typical multi-camera facility deployments. The wall-mount form factor suits control rooms, server closets, and installations where rack space is unavailable or undesirable.
Compatibility
Supports ONVIF-compliant IP cameras from all major manufacturers—Axis, Hikvision, Uniview, Dahua, and others. The 4 built-in PoE (802.3af) ports power cameras drawing up to 13W each without external switches, simplifying smaller deployments. Integrates with standard VMS platforms via ONVIF Profile S and web browser remote viewing. Speco's SecureGuard® Dashboard and mobile apps provide cross-platform access. Facial detection and object/line-crossing alerts work with Speco-branded smart analytic cameras; other ONVIF cameras deliver standard video and motion detection.
Installation Notes
Operating temperature range is 14°F to 122°F (–10°C to 50°C)—keep the unit in climate-controlled space; sustained heat above 50°C will degrade drive lifespan. The N4WNRM16TB includes wall-mount hardware and remote control. One RCA audio input jack accepts line-level audio from intercoms or facility audio systems. One SATA port accepts a single 2.5" or 3.5" hard drive up to 16TB capacity. Connect ethernet to your facility network; no separate configuration required for ONVIF discovery. Rack ears are not included with this model (wall-mount only).
