Overview
The N32WNRN16TB is a 32-channel network video recorder in a compact wall-mount enclosure (15″ W × 2.83″ H × 13.4″ D, 12 lbs gross), built for mid-to-large deployments where rack space or a control-room footprint isn't available. It ingests 4K (8MP) video on all 32 channels at 30 fps per channel, encodes via H.265 and H.264 profiles, and includes 16TB onboard storage — meaningful for continuous or motion-triggered recording across a full 32-camera network. The unit draws 12VDC @ 5A, mounts directly to wall studs via the included rack ears, and ships ready to commission into Speco IP camera deployments or mixed-vendor ONVIF-conformant systems.
Compatibility
The N32WNRN16TB works with any IP camera broadcasting ONVIF Profile S or PTZ; Speco's EZ Wizard auto-discovery accelerates NVR setup for Speco IP cameras, but manual ONVIF configuration handles third-party cameras (Axis, Hikvision, etc.) just as readily. Two Gigabit network ports isolate camera traffic from remote monitoring traffic — a real asset in environments where WAN bandwidth is tight or you're tunneling recording over a limited uplink. The unit integrates with SecureGuard® VMS and SecureGuard® Mobile for remote viewing, playback, and configuration. Audio ingress supports 16 local (analog) + 32 IP audio inputs; output is codec G.711, suitable for two-way communication or event notification.
Installation Notes
Mount the unit on 16-inch center studs using the supplied rack ears — confirm wall framing can handle the 12-lb gross weight plus vibration damping. Connect the power supply (external 12VDC, 5A) before powering up. Wire both Gigabit ports into your network — one dedicated to cameras, one to office/WAN traffic — to avoid bandwidth choking. Firmware upgrades run via USB port or network without taking the unit offline.
