Overview
The N32WNRE8TB is a 32-channel wall-mount NVR designed for mid to large-scale security installations where storage efficiency and analytics capability matter. H.265 compression cuts storage consumption roughly in half compared to H.264 — a direct factor when you're running 32 channels 24/7. The 8TB internal drive provides extended retention across all channels; you can extend capacity up to 112TB via the eight SATA ports if your retention policy demands it. Built-in facial recognition, object detection, and line-crossing analytics move event processing to the edge rather than downstream to your VMS, reducing network load and speeding response in retail, enterprise, and critical infrastructure deployments.
Compatibility
Works with any ONVIF Profile S-compliant IP camera — that covers the vast majority of modern Speco IP cameras and third-party brands (Axis, Hikvision, Dahua, etc.). Integrates with standard VMS platforms including Milestone, Genetec, and other systems that consume ONVIF streams. Remote access, mobile viewing, and configuration operate via standard network protocols; no proprietary VMS lock-in. Two-way audio (RCA input) supports speaker-driven two-way communication with compatible cameras.
Installation Notes
Wall-mount form factor (430mm × 453mm × 3.5" depth) fits standard security office and control-room racks with minimal footprint. Operating temperature range –10°C to 50°C (–4°F to 122°F) — typical indoor climate; not suitable for unheated or outdoor enclosures. The unit supports 4K HDMI output plus one VGA monitor output for simultaneous display; additional USB and eSATA ports enable backup and external drive expansion. Eight internal SATA bays accept 2.5" or 3.5" drives for scalability without external enclosures.
