Overview
The N32WNRE4TB is a 32-channel wall-mount NVR designed for mid-to-large deployments where storage density and intelligent event detection matter. It records up to 8MP (4K) at 30 fps across all 32 channels simultaneously, with H.265 compression cutting storage footprint in half versus H.264—critical when managing 112TB maximum capacity across continuous or analytics-triggered recording modes. Built-in facial recognition and object/line-crossing detection reduce manual forensic search time; EZ Search 2.0 lets you thumbnail events by time slice instead of scrubbing frame-by-frame. The N32WNRE4TB includes 4TB internal storage and 8 SATA ports for expansion, plus 2 eSATA ports for quick external backup or archive.
Compatibility
The N32WNRE4TB integrates with any ONVIF Profile S-compliant IP camera—Speco's own 4K and lower-resolution models, as well as third-party brands (Axis, Hikvision, Uniview, etc.) that conform to the standard. EZ Wizards auto-discover cameras on the local network, eliminating manual IP entry. Two-way audio (RCA input) pairs with any camera that supports audio return or a centralized speaker system, enabling remote announcements or two-way conversation during live or recorded playback. Supports simultaneous HDMI (4K) and VGA monitor output for control-room or server-closet installations.
Installation Notes
Wall-mount form factor requires secure fastening to studs or approved wall anchors rated for the unit's weight; verify load rating before installation. Operating temperature range is -4°F to 122°F (-10°C to 50°C); avoid high-humidity or condensing environments without climate control. Gigabit Ethernet connection required for 30 fps 8MP multi-channel recording; standard PoE does not power the NVR itself—use dedicated AC power. 8 SATA bays support 3.5-inch surveillance drives; install matching capacity and model drives per Speco recommendations to avoid performance degradation. Configure recording modes (Continuous, Motion, Analytics, Sensor) via the Network Wizard at setup to optimize storage lifecycle.
