Speco Technologies H24WHRLN12TB 24-Channel Wall Mount Hybrid Recorder
Overview
The H24WHRLN12TB is a wall-mounted hybrid recorder engineered for mid-scale security deployments mixing analog-TVI and IP camera infrastructures. It provides 24 total channels—8 dedicated TVI inputs, 8 configurable TVI/IP hybrid ports, and 8 native IP channels—allowing you to integrate legacy coaxial camera plant alongside modern IP equipment without running parallel recording systems. The 12TB internal storage delivers extended retention suitable for commercial facilities, retail, and institutional installations operating continuous or semi-continuous recording schedules. Wall mounting fits centralized control rooms, branch offices, or network operations centers where rack space is unavailable or visibility from a workstation is critical.
Compatibility
The H24WHRLN12TB accepts analog TVI cameras on its dedicated 8-channel TVI input bank, supporting standard TVI resolution and frame rates. The 8 hybrid ports auto-detect and accept either TVI or IP sources, eliminating the need to pre-assign input types during installation. The 8 IP channels integrate any ONVIF-compliant network camera—Axis, Hikvision, Uniview, Uniview, and others—allowing heterogeneous multivendor deployments. Connection via VGA or HDMI to monitor outputs (cables not included) supports real-time playback and live monitoring. USB ports accommodate standard peripherals including the included optical mouse for navigation. Network connectivity enables remote access and management over TCP/IP infrastructure. Integrators deploying technology transitions—replacing analog with IP incrementally—benefit from the recorder's mixed-protocol tolerance, which eliminates forklift-replacement cycles.
Installation Notes
Connect analog TVI cameras to BNC video input ports. Assign hybrid ports as either TVI or IP as your network design requires. Use a standard 120VAC 50/60Hz power outlet with the included power adapter. Monitor output selection (VGA or HDMI) depends on your control-room display infrastructure; confirm cable type at procurement. Upon initial boot, the recorder prompts setup of a password and security questions—complete these before deploying to production. RS485 interface (pins A/TX+, B/TX–) enables integration with external control systems or PTZ camera protocols if your deployment requires synchronized pan-tilt-zoom command chains.
