Overview
The CVC695AM is a compact angle mount surveillance camera designed for outdoor perimeter monitoring, building entry points, and corner installations where a fixed downward-angled view simplifies mounting and reduces blind spots. This analog color camera delivers 700 TV lines of resolution — adequate for general site coverage and visitor identification at typical surveillance distances. The 3.6mm wide-angle lens (72° horizontal / 53° vertical) combined with a 38° fixed downward tilt makes it purpose-built for soffit or corner mounting without requiring pan/tilt hardware. Stainless steel 18-gauge construction rated for operating temperatures from 14°F to 122°F and humidity up to 95% RH handles coastal, industrial, and high-moisture outdoor environments where corrosion resistance is non-negotiable.
Compatibility
The CVC695AM integrates into legacy analog CCTV systems and hybrid analog/digital installations. Outputs are standard analog composite video (1.0Vp-p / 75 ohms BNC) and 12VDC power via DC jack — compatible with any DVR, hybrid NVR, or analog video distribution system accepting BNC video and 12VDC power. The fixed angle mount form factor works with wall-mount brackets and corner installations typical in retail, warehouse, and industrial facility surveillance networks. No IP/network connectivity; this is a pure analog camera.
Installation Notes
Power consumption is 210mA at 12VDC — ensure your 12VDC power supply branch circuit has adequate capacity if daisy-chaining multiple cameras. The included tamper-resistant mounting screw deters casual removal but does not prevent determined theft; use in conjunction with cage or conduit protection if full security is required. The weather-resistant cover and stainless steel housing provide splash and dust protection suitable for eaves, soffits, and covered exterior locations; avoid direct immersion or high-pressure spray applications. BNC video and DC power connectors are exposed; use weatherproof connector covers or conduit sealing for exposed cable runs in rain-prone installations.
