The Honeywell 871-228-401 is a single docking station designed to charge and provide USB connectivity for Honeywell CK3 and CK65 mobile computers. This dock is crucial for maintaining operational readiness in logistics, warehousing, and retail environments by ensuring devices are powered and data transfer is streamlined. It replaces older dock models 871-228-201 and 871-228-301, offering a direct upgrade path for existing infrastructure.

Compatibility

This docking station is specifically designed for the Honeywell CK3 and CK65 series mobile computers. It is compatible with the AD20 variant of these devices. Note that this dock is not compatible with the 318-046-011 battery pack. For full functionality, it requires the separate purchase of a 3011-8248-001 power supply and a country-specific AC power cord, along with a 236-209-001 USB-A to USB-microB cable assembly.

Installation Notes

Installation requires connecting the dedicated Honeywell power supply (3011-8248-001) and a standard AC power cord to the dock. A USB-A to USB-microB cable (236-209-001) is also necessary for data communication. Ensure the correct battery type is used, as the 318-046-011 battery is not supported.
