Middle Atlantic 430BR Single Blanking Plate — Brass
Overview
The Middle Atlantic 430BR is a brass-finish single blanking plate designed to cover unused openings in in-floor service fitting assemblies. When a floor box or service fitting cutout is wired for future use or left intentionally empty, leaving it open creates a tripping hazard and allows debris ingress into the floor cavity. The 430BR drops into that opening and seals it cleanly, maintaining a finished appearance at floor level. Its brass finish coordinates with Middle Atlantic's in-floor systems hardware where a warm metallic tone is specified — common in hospitality, boardrooms, and executive spaces where brushed chrome would look out of place. TAA compliance makes it eligible for government and federally funded installations without additional procurement review.

The 430BR is sized for Middle Atlantic's single-position in-floor service fitting openings. It is part of the same in-floor service fitting family as Middle Atlantic's floor boxes and modular insert systems. Verify your floor box model accepts a single-position blanking plate before ordering — multi-gang or non-standard cutouts require a different size. The brass finish is specific to this model; stainless and other finishes are available as separate SKUs within the same blanking plate line if your installation specifies a different surface treatment.
