The Vertiv VP5U60A2 is a 60/63A, 240/415V WYE, vertical 0U switched rack PDU designed for enterprise data centers and colocation facilities. It provides input monitoring and outlet-level switching, enabling granular control and real-time power consumption metrics for individual devices. This unit is ideal for environments requiring precise power management, remote access, and high-density power distribution, supporting up to 43.4kW capacity.
This PDU is designed for integration into standard 19-inch server racks. Its 0U vertical form factor is compatible with most rack enclosures. The unit's dual Gigabit Ethernet ports facilitate management within existing network infrastructure. It supports daisy-chaining up to 50 devices on a single IP address, simplifying the management of multiple PDUs in large deployments.
The VP5U60A2 requires a 240/415V WYE power source and features a 3P+N+E (IP44) plug. It includes 36 combination C13/C19 outlets with P-Lock high-retention capability to secure power cords. The hot-swappable Interchangeable Monitoring Device (IMD-5M) allows for easy upgrades or replacement without powering down the PDU. Serial connectivity is also provided for direct management.
