Description

Vertiv VP4N30A7 Monitored 3-Phase Vertical PDU, 30A 120/208V WYE, 24x IEC C13

Overview

The Vertiv VP4N30A7 is a unit-level monitored, three-phase vertical rack PDU rated at 30A/8.6kW from a NEMA L21-30P input. Designed for high-density data center and server-room racks where you need per-outlet-level visibility without the added cost of switched control, the VP4N30A7 delivers real-time monitoring of current, voltage, power, and temperature across 24 IEC C13 outlets — all managed over dual RJ-45 Ethernet ports and a broad protocol stack including SNMP v3, SSH, RADIUS, and Modbus TCP. The vertical form factor keeps it flush against the rear zero-U rail, preserving every rack unit for active equipment.

Key Features

  • 30A / 8.6kW Three-Phase Input (NEMA L21-30P): Drawing from a standard L21-30P 120/208V WYE branch circuit, the VP4N30A7 handles up to 8.6kW of sustained IT load — enough headroom for a fully populated 2U server row without approaching the 80% de-rated ceiling. If you're already wiring L21-30P circuits to your rack distribution, no additional PDU infrastructure is needed.
  • 24 IEC C13 Outlets: IEC C13 is the universal connector for 1U/2U servers, KVM units, and most 1U network appliances. Twenty-four positions fill a standard 42U rack comfortably — roughly one outlet per rack unit of typical mixed server/networking load — without forcing you to run a second PDU just to reach full density.
  • Unit-Level EC Monitoring — Current, Voltage, Power, Temperature:
