Vertiv UI10001L Locking IEC C13 Power Distribution Unit

Overview

The Vertiv UI10001L is a locking IEC C13 power distribution unit (PDU) designed to prevent accidental disconnection of power cords in critical IT environments. This unit ensures continuous operation for servers, network switches, and other rack-mounted equipment by maintaining a secure connection between the PDU and the device's power supply. It's ideal for deployments where vibration or incidental contact could otherwise disrupt power flow, such as in high-density server racks or industrial automation setups.

Compatibility

This PDU is designed to integrate with standard 19-inch rack enclosures. The locking IEC C13 outlets are compatible with any device utilizing a standard IEC C14 power input connector. It is intended for use with Vertiv rack systems and other standard IT infrastructure racks where secure power delivery is paramount.

Installation Notes

The UI10001L requires a standard IEC C14 input power source. Mounting is achieved via standard rack mounting brackets, typically requiring two rack spaces (2U). Ensure the total power draw of connected devices does not exceed the PDU's capacity and the input circuit breaker rating. Torque specifications for mounting screws should follow standard rack installation practices.
