Overview

The Vertiv 17380 is a metered, surge-protected rack power distribution unit (rPDU) designed to deliver reliable power to critical IT equipment within a server rack or cabinet. It features a local digital display for real-time power consumption metrics, aiding in the avoidance of accidental overloads during equipment deployment or relocation. This unit is ideal for environments lacking facility-level surge suppression or where additional protection is required for sensitive hardware. Every unit undergoes 100% testing for reliability and functionality.

Compatibility

This rPDU is designed for standard 120V IT infrastructure. It accepts a NEMA 5-15P plug and provides twenty NEMA 5-15R receptacles. It is suitable for use with standard server rack configurations and any IT equipment drawing up to 15A at 120V. The 10ft power cord offers flexibility in rack placement. It is TAA Compliant and Buy American Act COTS Compliant.

Installation Notes
