Overview

The Hubbell PT1RCGY is a single, gray replacement receptacle designed for 15A, 125V circuits. It features a 2-pole, 3-wire grounding configuration with a standard 5-15R NEMA configuration. This receptacle is intended for use in commercial and industrial environments where a reliable and durable power outlet is required, such as replacing worn-out outlets in electrical boxes or panels.

Compatibility

This receptacle is designed to fit standard single-gang electrical boxes and is compatible with 14 AWG to 10 AWG copper or aluminum conductors. It is suitable for general-purpose power distribution in applications requiring a 15A, 125V connection.

Installation Notes

For secure termination, ensure conductors are stripped to 1/2 inch. Tighten terminal screws to 12 inch-pounds (1.36 Nm) to ensure a solid connection and prevent overheating. Use only copper or copper-clad aluminum conductors rated for at least 75°C.
