Overview

The 28D30000000014 is a factory-original replacement battery designed exclusively for the MP Ranger mobile thermal printer. If your MP Ranger's battery no longer holds a full shift's charge or fails to power on, this direct replacement restores runtime for last-mile logistics, delivery verification, and field label printing. The MP Ranger prints thermal receipts and barcode labels (QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, Code 128, Code 39, UPC, EAN) at 203 dpi across 76.2 mm or 80 mm paper widths—a critical tool in warehouse and courier operations where proof-of-delivery labels must print on-site.

Compatibility

This battery is manufactured for the MP Ranger mobile printer line exclusively. It is not compatible with other Custom America POS devices, third-party thermal printers, or handheld terminals. Confirm your device is an MP Ranger before ordering—the model designation appears on the printer's housing and in your device documentation. The MP Ranger pairs wirelessly via Bluetooth 4.2 or 802.11 to phones, tablets, and specialized mobile computers, and the battery powers the entire print engine and wireless stack for IP54-rated outdoor operation (dust and splash resistant, 1-meter drop rated).

Installation Notes

Battery replacement requires no special tools or configuration. Power off the MP Ranger completely. The printer's integrated LED status lights and on-screen battery indicator will display the new cell's charge level immediately.
