Overview
The DWR-RR8 is a heavy-gauge, ecoated steel rackrail providing 8 rack units of 10-32 threaded mounting positions for Middle Atlantic Middle Atlantic rack systems. At 14 inches usable height and 20 inches depth, it drops into DWR and EWR series enclosures as a direct replacement or supplemental rail — the right component when a rail is damaged, when you're retrofitting a used enclosure, or when a build calls for additional mounting positions inside an existing frame. Sold individually; order two for a matched left/right pair.
Compatibility
The DWR-RR8 is engineered specifically for Middle Atlantic DWR (Desktop Wall Rack) and EWR (Extra Wide Rack) series enclosures. The 10-32 thread pattern is the standard for 19-inch rack enclosures and accepts standard rack nuts and cage nuts used across network switches, patch panels, PDUs, and AV gear. Verify your existing enclosure is a DWR or EWR series before ordering — Middle Atlantic's rack families use model-specific rail geometries that are not interchangeable across series. If you're populating a new DWR or EWR build with rack accessories such as power strips or cable managers, this rail provides the threaded anchor points those components require.
Installation Notes
The rail measures 0.9 inches wide and 14 inches in usable height (20 inches overall depth), so confirm your enclosure's internal rail channel matches before installation. The ecoated finish provides corrosion resistance suitable for conditioned indoor equipment rooms — not rated for outdoor or high-humidity environments. Standard 10-32 rack screws or cage nut hardware required; not included. For rack mounting hardware and cage nut assortments, source separately to suit your screw count per unit.
