Overview

The DWR-10-22PD is a 10U steel wall-mount rack from Middle Atlantic's DWR series, built for AV and security equipment installations where floor space is not available. At 22 inches deep overall with 20 inches of usable depth, it handles full-depth NVRs, UPS units, and patch panels without requiring a floor-standing enclosure. The plexi front door provides visual status checks without opening the cabinet — useful in server closets, back-of-house IT rooms, and security head-end spaces where technicians need to verify indicator lights at a glance. The pivoting (forward-compatible) design lets the rack swing away from the wall, giving rear-access to cabling after installation — a real time-saver during moves, adds, and changes. UL-rated to 200 lbs static load (155 lbs seismic), it handles a fully populated 10U bay without concern. Black wrinkle powder coat finish matches standard rack equipment aesthetics. TAA compliant for government and federally funded deployments.

Compatibility

Designed to accept standard 19-inch EIA rack-mount equipment: network video recorders, PoE network switches, patch panels, UPS units, and rackmount servers. The forward rackrail configuration is compatible with Middle Atlantic's standard accessory ecosystem — shelves, blanks, and cable managers designed for the DWR series drop in without modification. Forward-compatible design accommodates Middle Atlantic accessories across generations. Suitable for any 19-inch EIA-compliant equipment with a depth footprint within 20 inches usable. Not intended for equipment requiring rear-rail support (two-post gear only).

Installation Notes

Wall-mount installation requires attachment to structural studs or a rated backing surface capable of supporting the static load — the 59.5 lb enclosure weight plus up to 200 lbs of equipment puts real demand on the anchor points. Seismic load capacity is 155 lbs; installations in seismic zones should account for the reduced rating. Overall enclosure dimensions are 23.4 in W × 24.56 in H × 22 in D; plan wall clearance accordingly before mounting. The pivot mechanism requires swing clearance in front of the rack equal to the enclosure depth when servicing rear cabling. Country of origin is Mexico.
