Overview
The APC by Schneider Electric AP7960 is a switched, rack-mountable Power Distribution Unit (PDU) designed for data center and network closet deployments. It provides remote power control for individual outlets, allowing you to power cycle equipment without physical access. This Zero U form factor mounts vertically in a standard rack, consuming no horizontal rack space, which is critical in high-density environments. The AP7960 model is ideal for managing 120V equipment where granular power control and monitoring are required. Its 24 NEMA 5-20R outlets offer ample capacity for most rack-mounted devices.
Compatibility
This PDU is designed for 120V equipment and connects to a 208V 3-phase input power source via a NEMA L21-20P connector. It is compatible with standard 19-inch server racks and cabinets. The 3-foot cord length is suitable for installations where the power source is in close proximity to the PDU's mounting location within the rack.
Installation Notes
