Overview

The APC AP8865X630 is a 2G Metered Rack PDU designed for high-density power distribution in enterprise data centers and network closets. It provides granular, real-time power monitoring at the PDU and outlet level, enabling better capacity planning and load balancing. This unit is essential for environments requiring precise power management for critical IT equipment, supporting up to 8.6KW at 208V. The AP8865X630 model features a zero-U form factor, maximizing rack space utilization.

Compatibility

This Rack PDU is designed for integration into standard 19-inch racks and cabinets. It is compatible with APC's EcoStruxure IT management platform for remote monitoring and control. The C13 and C19 outlets are standard for server power supplies, network switches, and other IT hardware. It is suitable for deployment with most enterprise-grade server racks and network infrastructure.

Installation Notes

The AP8865X630 requires a 208V, 3-phase power input connection. It mounts vertically in a zero-U space within a standard 19-inch rack. Ensure the circuit breaker feeding the PDU is rated appropriately for the 8.6KW load and the input voltage. Torque specifications for the power input connection should be followed as per the installation manual to ensure a secure electrical connection.
