The ATEN 2X049G is a rack mounting kit that lets you install the VP1420, VP1421, or VP2120 presentation switcher into a standard equipment rack — keeping AV infrastructure organized in rack-based deployments such as boardrooms, training facilities, and control rooms where tabletop placement is not practical. The 2X049G converts a desktop-form-factor presenter unit into a rack-resident device, eliminating cable clutter and securing the unit against accidental displacement in shared or high-traffic environments.
Compatibility
Designed specifically for three ATEN presentation switcher models: the ATEN VP1420 (4-input modular presentation switcher), VP1421 (4-input modular presentation switcher with scaler), and VP2120 (10x2 presentation matrix switcher). This kit is not a universal fit — verify your specific model number before ordering. It is not compatible with other ATEN AV switching or KVM product lines.
