Overview

The Hubbell HLQ24M Quadcab is a light-duty enclosure designed to house up to 12 standard 19-inch rack units. Its 24-inch depth provides ample space for network switches, patch panels, and other essential IT or security infrastructure components. The black mesh door offers ventilation while maintaining a degree of physical security, making it suitable for environments where equipment needs to be protected from dust and unauthorized access but requires airflow. This enclosure is ideal for small server closets, network distribution points, or staging areas where a full-sized rack is not necessary.

Compatibility

This enclosure is designed to accept standard 19-inch rack-mountable equipment. It supports up to 12 rack units (12U) in height. The 24-inch depth accommodates most standard depth network switches, patch panels, and smaller server appliances. It is not designed for full-size rack servers or deep network devices that exceed its internal depth capacity.

Installation Notes

The HLQ24M requires wall mounting. Ensure the mounting surface is capable of supporting the weight of the enclosure plus its fully loaded equipment. The mesh door is reversible for left or right-hand opening. Ensure adequate clearance around the enclosure for door swing and equipment access.
