The StarTech PYO2LP4SATA is a 12-inch internal power adapter cable. It converts a single legacy LP4 (Molex 4-pin large drive power) connector into two SATA power connectors. This is critical for expanding storage capacity in systems where the existing power supply unit (PSU) has an insufficient number of SATA power outputs, such as many surveillance DVRs or older workstations.
