Posiflex RB2000 Rechargeable Battery
Overview
The RB2000 is a rechargeable battery pack designed to power Posiflex XT and KS series point-of-sale and retail terminals in the field. Intended for environments where portable, untethered operation is required—mobile checkout carts, wireless table-service systems, or temporary registers—the RB2000 extends runtime between charging cycles, eliminating the need for a wall outlet during transactions. This keeps your terminal mobile and responsive on the sales floor.
Compatibility
The RB2000 is compatible with all Posiflex XT and KS series terminals, with one exception: the KS7212 and KS7210 models are not supported. Before ordering, confirm your terminal model falls within the XT or KS family and is not one of the excluded units. Cross-reference your device documentation or the model label on the back of the terminal.
Installation Notes
The RB2000 integrates directly into the terminal's battery compartment—no additional wiring or adapters required. Ensure the terminal is powered off before removing or installing the battery. Insert the pack until it clicks firmly into place, then power the unit back on. Recharge using the terminal's standard power adapter or the dedicated charging cradle (if supplied separately). For field deployments, keep a spare RB2000 charged and ready to swap out when runtime drops below 20 percent, ensuring uninterrupted service during peak sales periods.
