Description

PNY NVLINK2WAY-KIT NVLINK Bridge Board 2-WAY Passive KIT H200 NVL

Overview

The PNY NVLINK2WAY-KIT is a passive 2-way NVLink bridge board designed to connect two compatible NVIDIA GPUs. This interconnect provides a high-bandwidth, low-latency pathway between GPUs, enabling them to share data and function as a single, larger memory pool. This is critical for accelerating demanding AI, deep learning, and high-performance computing workloads where datasets exceed the capacity of a single GPU. The NVLINK2WAY-KIT specifically supports NVIDIA H200 GPUs, offering 600GB/s of bidirectional bandwidth per GPU.

Compatibility

This NVLink bridge is engineered for specific NVIDIA GPU architectures. It is designed to connect two NVIDIA H200 GPUs. Ensure your server chassis and motherboard support the installation of two GPUs in close proximity with the appropriate NVLink connector spacing. It is not compatible with consumer GeForce or workstation RTX cards unless explicitly stated by NVIDIA for specific professional models.

Installation Notes

Installation requires careful handling of sensitive components. The bridge snaps directly onto the NVLink connectors located between the two GPUs. Ensure the bridge is fully seated on both GPUs. The maximum thermal design power (TDP) for each GPU connected via this bridge should not exceed 400W. Proper airflow within the server chassis is paramount to dissipate the combined heat load generated by the GPUs and the bridge. The PCIe interconnect speed is 128GB/s, while the NVLink interconnect provides 600GB/s.
