Critical Installation Notes

This armored gland is required wherever armored cable enters explosion-proof enclosures in classified areas. Using a non-armored gland with armored cable fails to grip the armor layer properly, compromising cable retention and certification compliance. For non-armored cable applications, specify the OCTEX1/2C standard gland instead. Always verify cable armor type, diameter, clamping range, zone classification, and applicable gas group certification before installation.
