Overview

The Altronix T2PDK77F24SD is a 20A 24VDC power distribution module designed to efficiently distribute power to multiple access control or surveillance devices. It simplifies wiring by consolidating power connections, reducing installation time and potential points of failure. This unit is ideal for installations requiring a centralized, reliable power source for door controllers, card readers, cameras, or other low-voltage security equipment.

Compatibility

This module is designed for use with Altronix power supply chassis and distribution boards. It is compatible with systems requiring a 24VDC power source up to 20A total output. Specific compatibility extends to Altronix Tango series power supplies and other chassis systems that accept this form factor and power rating. It is not designed for direct connection to AC mains power.

Installation Notes

The T2PDK77F24SD requires a 24VDC input from a compatible Altronix power supply. Each of the 24 fused outputs can handle up to 20A total current draw across all outputs, with individual PTC resettable fuses providing overcurrent protection for each output. Ensure proper wire gauge is used for the total current draw to each device to prevent voltage drop. Torque specifications for terminal blocks should be followed as per the installation manual to ensure secure connections.
