Description

Middle Atlantic RRF6 6U Full Hole Rack Rail Pair — Black E-Coat

Overview

The Middle Atlantic RRF6 is a replacement or supplemental rack rail pair covering 6 rack units (10.5 in.) of vertical space. Finished in a durable black e-coat, these rails use the 10-32 tapped hole pattern — the standard threading for the vast majority of commercial rack-mount equipment including NVRs, patch panels, and 1U/2U appliances. At 0.68 in. wide and 1.53 in. deep, the RRF6 slots into standard EIA-310 rack channels without protruding into cable management lanes. The e-coat finish bonds electrochemically to the steel rather than spraying on over bare metal, which means the surface holds up under repeated screw cycling without flaking at contact points — a real-world concern in racks that get reconfigured seasonally.

Compatibility

Designed for Middle Atlantic rack enclosures and open-frame rack systems that accept the standard rackrail channel profile. The 10-32 tapped hole pattern is compatible with rack-mount equipment from virtually all major vendors — Axis, Hanwha, Hikvision, Ubiquiti, Cisco, and most 1U-4U security appliances. Verify your rack chassis accepts the RRF6 channel width (0.68 in.) before ordering; some ultra-slim open-frame rails use a narrower profile. Sold as a single pair — one set of two rails covering 6 RU, not a full-height set. For longer runs, pair with additional RRF sections or verify that your chassis ships with rails included.

Installation Notes

No special tooling required beyond a standard screwdriver. The 6 RU span (10.5 in. height) means this rail covers roughly three standard 2U devices or six 1U units end-to-end. Shipping weight is 1.3 lbs for the pair. Mount into rack enclosure channels using the manufacturer-specified fasteners for your chassis — the RRF6 itself does not include mounting screws.
