Description

Panduit F92RLU2U2ONM011 OS2 Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit F92RLU2U2ONM011 is an 11-meter (36 ft) OS2 duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-density interconnects in data centers, telecommunication rooms, and enterprise networks. Its Uniboot design with LC APC connectors and a 2mm LSZH cable simplifies cable management by allowing A-to-B connections with a single cable, reducing bundle size and improving airflow. This cord is engineered for optimized insertion loss, ensuring signal integrity in demanding fiber optic systems.

Compatibility

This patch cord is compatible with any system utilizing OS1/OS2 single-mode fiber, LC Duplex connectors, and APC (Angled Physical Contact) polish. It is suitable for interconnecting pre-terminated cassettes within main distribution, horizontal, and equipment distribution areas. The LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) rating makes it suitable for installations with strict fire safety requirements, common in enterprise and data center environments.

Installation Notes

The Uniboot connector features a pull-boot mechanism that allows for easy polarity reversal (A-to-B or B-to-A) without requiring tools or re-termination. Ensure the LC APC connectors are clean before mating to prevent signal degradation and connector damage. The 2mm cable diameter and LSZH jacket are suitable for plenum spaces where required by local codes, but verify specific building requirements. The yellow cable color is standard for single-mode OS2 fiber.
