Description

Panduit F9UYP5353AAF215 OS2 24F Trunk Cable Assembly

Overview

The Panduit F9UYP5353AAF215 is an 18-inch OS2 24-fiber MPO trunk cable assembly designed for rapid deployment in high-density data centers, telecommunications rooms, and equipment distribution areas. Its plenum (OFNP) rating supports installation in air-handling spaces, while the pre-terminated MPO female connectors minimize on-site termination time and reduce the risk of installation errors. This cable facilitates high-speed data transmission over singlemode fiber, supporting backbone connectivity in modern network infrastructures.

Compatibility

This trunk cable assembly is designed for use with equipment and patch panels featuring MPO female connectors. It is suitable for deployment in environments adhering to TIA-568.3-D and ISO/IEC 11801 standards, commonly found in enterprise data centers and carrier network facilities. The OS2 fiber type is compatible with all singlemode applications, including 10 Gigabit Ethernet, 40 Gigabit Ethernet, and 100 Gigabit Ethernet, up to 10km or more depending on the transceivers used.

Installation Notes

The 18-inch length is optimized for short patch-panel-to-panel or equipment-to-patch-panel runs within racks or cabinets, minimizing cable slack and improving airflow. The OFNP rating ensures compliance for installation in plenum spaces. Ensure connectors are clean prior to mating to prevent signal degradation. The cable is terminated with MPO female connectors, requiring a corresponding MPO male connector on the mating equipment or patch cord.
