It features a 1.6mm diameter riser-rated (OFNR) yellow jacket, connecting a standard LC Simplex connector to an LC Simplex APC connector. This cord is designed for reliable indoor data transmission where standard insertion loss is acceptable, such as connecting network switches to fiber termination panels or extending fiber runs within a rack.

Compatibility

This patch cord is compatible with any network equipment and fiber optic enclosures utilizing LC Simplex and LC Simplex APC connectors. The OS2 single-mode fiber type supports higher bandwidth and longer distances than multimode fiber, making it suitable for Gigabit Ethernet and beyond.
