Overview
The CTI-PCOPS-PC25-SM is a desktop compute module purpose-built to run ACTi A+ and XT surveillance management panels. This unit centralizes video stream management, alarm processing, and user interface rendering for panel-based security deployments — eliminating the need to source separate commercial PC hardware and manage compatibility on your own. The SM variant is configured with an Intel processor and standard DDR4 memory, sizing it for small-to-medium surveillance estates where video ingestion, archival, and alerting run on a single appliance.
Compatibility
The CTI-PCOPS-PC25-SM integrates directly with ACTi A+ and XT control panels. It is not a standalone camera, encoder, or network recorder — it is the processing backbone for panel-based management software. Confirm your specific panel model (A+, XT) and existing surveillance infrastructure before ordering; compatibility is limited to ACTi panel ecosystems. Do not use this module as a substitute for standalone NVRs, video management servers, or camera controller units outside the A+/XT product family.
Installation Notes
Mount the Ops PC Module in a secure, climate-controlled equipment rack or cabinet. Ensure adequate airflow around the unit to prevent thermal throttling during extended operation. Connect power via a standard power supply to a UPS-backed outlet — mains interruption during active recording or alarm processing will corrupt logs and lose real-time data. Network connectivity is mandatory; use a dedicated switch port or PoE-capable infrastructure as specified in your panel documentation.
