Description

Panduit FWUYL7575LNM049 OM5 Trunk Cable Assembly

Overview

The Panduit FWUYL7575LNM049 is a QuickNet™ OM5 24-fiber trunk cable assembly designed for high-density data center deployments. Its small diameter LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) construction utilizes 30-40% less space than traditional cables, which is critical for managing cable sprawl and maximizing rack capacity in demanding environments. This 49-meter assembly is engineered for quick infrastructure deployment with extended reach capabilities.

Compatibility

This trunk cable assembly is designed for use with Panduit QuickNet™ fiber optic systems. It terminates with PanMPO Female connectors on both ends, suitable for transition to HD Flex components. The OM5 fiber type is backward compatible with OM3/OM4 but offers enhanced performance for WDM applications and wavelengths between 850nm and 953nm, supporting higher bandwidth and shorter reach applications than previous OM generations.

Installation Notes

The cable features a Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) flammability rating, making it suitable for installations where fire safety regulations require minimal smoke and halogen emission. The assembly meets or exceeds ISO/IEC 11801, TIA/EIA-568-C.3, and TIA-604-5 (FOCIS-5) standards, ensuring reliable performance and interoperability within compliant network infrastructures. The 50-micron fiber diameter is optimized for high-speed data transmission.
