Description

Panduit FWTYL7575LAM041 OM5 Trunk Cable

Overview

The Panduit FWTYL7575LAM041 is a QuickNet™ OM5 fiber optic trunk cable assembly designed for rapid deployment in data centers. Its small diameter, 12-fiber construction with LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacket makes it suitable for high-density cabling applications, offering 30-40% space savings compared to standard assemblies. This 41-meter (134.51 ft) cable is engineered for extended reach scenarios within the data center infrastructure.

Compatibility

This trunk cable assembly is designed for use with Panduit QuickNet™ fiber optic systems and is compliant with standards such as ISO/IEC 11801, TIA/EIA-568-C.3, and TIA-604-5 (FOCIS-5). It interfaces with standard MPO/MTP connectors common in OM5 deployments. Ensure your patch panels, transceivers, and other fiber infrastructure components support OM5 fiber type and the required connector interface for full compatibility.

Installation Notes

The LSZH jacket provides reduced fire safety risks in plenum spaces, crucial for data center environments. The cable's construction supports high-density installations, reducing congestion and improving airflow. Ensure proper bend radius management (minimum 50mm for OM5 fiber) during installation to maintain signal integrity and prevent damage. The 12-fiber count and OM5 type are specified for applications requiring higher bandwidth and wavelength multiplexing capabilities.
