Description

Panduit FW2U1U1ONM003 OM5 Fiber Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit FW2RPU1U1ONM003 is a 3-meter (9.84 ft) duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-speed data transmission in enterprise and industrial environments. Featuring OM5 multimode fiber with lime green jacketing, it supports applications requiring robust performance and clear channel identification. The plenum (OFNP) rating makes it suitable for installation in air-handling spaces, ensuring compliance with building codes. This cord utilizes LC Duplex Uniboot connectors on both ends, simplifying cable management with its integrated pull tab and reversible polarity design, reducing installation time and potential errors in complex network infrastructure.

Compatibility

This Panduit Opti-Core® patch cord is designed for use with network equipment featuring standard LC duplex connectors. It is fully compatible with OM5 fiber optic transceivers and network switches that support multimode fiber transmission. The 2mm cable diameter and Uniboot connector style are intended for use in high-density patching environments where efficient cable routing is critical.

Installation Notes

The LC Duplex Uniboot connectors feature an integrated pull tab that allows for safe and easy insertion and removal, even in densely populated racks. Polarity can be reversed without re-terminating the cable, a critical feature for streamlining network configuration and troubleshooting. The 2mm jacket diameter and flexible construction facilitate routing through conduits and cable management systems. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to prevent signal degradation. Rated for IEC 60332-1-2 flame retardancy.
