Overview

The Panduit FW2RPU1U1NNM8.5 is a 2-fiber OM5 duplex patch cable terminated with LC connectors. It is designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding environments like data centers and telecommunications rooms, where rapid deployment of pre-terminated fiber infrastructure is critical. The OM5 Wideband Multimode fiber supports wavelengths from 450nm to 1300nm, enabling applications like Short-Wavelength Division Multiplexing (SWDM) and providing backward compatibility with existing OM3 and OM4 infrastructure. This cable is plenum-rated (OFNP) for installation in air-handling spaces, meeting stringent safety requirements.
