LSZH construction reduces toxic gas and smoke emission during a fire event — a hard requirement in plenum-adjacent and occupied-building cabling runs where halogen off-gassing is a code or safety concern. OM5 wideband multimode glass (50/125µm) supports short-wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) and is backward compatible with OM4/OM3 infrastructure, giving you a forward path to 40G and 100G parallel optic applications without re-cabling.
