Overview
The Panduit FW2ERLNLNSNM007 is a 7-meter (23 ft) OM5 duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-speed data center and enterprise network applications. Its OFNR (riser-rated) construction makes it suitable for vertical cable runs within buildings. This cord utilizes standard polarity and insertion loss, ensuring reliable connectivity between network equipment, patch panels, and active devices within a structured cabling system.
Compatibility
This patch cord is compatible with any network equipment or patch panels featuring LC Duplex connectors. It is designed for use with OM5 multimode fiber infrastructure, supporting applications requiring higher bandwidth and wavelength division multiplexing (WDM) capabilities over shorter distances compared to OM3/OM4. The 1.6mm cable diameter is standard for duplex patch cords.
Installation Notes
The cable features a lime green jacket, conforming to industry standards for OM5 fiber. Ensure clean connector end-faces prior to connection to prevent signal degradation and connector damage. The OFNR rating indicates suitability for in-building riser applications; it is not rated for plenum spaces which require OFNP certification.
