The Panduit FRZ8PYYL011M022 is a 22-meter (72.2 ft) OM4 multimode fiber optic cable assembly. It features MPO female connectors on both ends, terminated with APC polish, and is designed for high-density data center and telecommunications room deployments where rapid infrastructure installation is critical. This cable supports 8-fiber connectivity, enabling higher bandwidth and density compared to traditional LC connectors.
This cable is designed for use within Panduit's Opti-Core® fiber infrastructure systems. It is compatible with standard MPO female ports found in high-density patch panels, blade servers, and network switches requiring OM4 multimode fiber connectivity. It meets TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/TIA-942-B standards, ensuring interoperability with compliant network equipment.
The MPO connector requires proper alignment to ensure successful mating. Avoid exceeding the minimum bend radius of the OM4 fiber to prevent signal degradation. Ensure the APC polish on the connectors is clean prior to mating to maintain optimal optical performance. The cable is rated UL 22M, indicating compliance with specific safety and flammability standards for indoor use in plenum spaces.
