Overview
The Panduit FZ23RSNSNSNF014 is a QuickNet™ OM4 2-fiber patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in enterprise environments. It features SC Duplex connectors on both ends, terminated with a 3mm jacket, and is riser-rated (OFNR) for in-building installations. This pre-terminated fiber infrastructure facilitates rapid deployment in data centers, telecommunications rooms, and equipment distribution areas, minimizing installation time and complexity.
Compatibility
This cable is engineered for use with standard OM4 multimode fiber optic equipment and infrastructure. The SC Duplex connectors are compatible with any equipment featuring SC Duplex ports, common in network switches, servers, and fiber optic patch panels. Its OM4 fiber type supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters and 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters, making it suitable for high-bandwidth applications within these distances. It meets TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/TIA-942-B standards.
Installation Notes
The 3mm jacket provides a balance of flexibility and durability. Ensure proper bend radius management (minimum 10x cable diameter) to avoid signal degradation. The OFNR rating indicates suitability for vertical runs between floors but not for use in air handling spaces (plenums) without additional protection or specific approvals.
