Description

Panduit FZ2RPU1U1NNM042 OM4 2F 42M LC Duplex OFNP Fiber Optic Patch Cable

Overview

The Panduit FZ2RPU1U1NNM042 is a 42-meter (137.8 ft) OM4 multimode fiber optic patch cable designed for high-density environments like data centers, telecommunications rooms, and equipment distribution areas. It provides a pre-terminated infrastructure solution for rapid deployment, utilizing LC duplex connectors for efficient fiber management and a plenum (OFNP) rating for compliance in air-handling spaces.

Compatibility

This cable is engineered for use within Panduit's QuickNet™ fiber infrastructure systems. It terminates with LC duplex connectors, making it compatible with standard LC ports found on network switches, transceivers, patch panels, and other fiber optic equipment commonly deployed in enterprise and carrier networks. The OM4 fiber type supports 10/40/100 Gbps Ethernet speeds up to 100 meters, and is backward compatible with OM3 infrastructure.

Installation Notes

The Uniboot design of the LC connectors allows for a single cable jacket to house both fibers, simplifying cable management and reducing pathway fill. Ensure proper bend radius is maintained during installation to avoid signal degradation, especially within dense rack environments. The OFNP rating signifies its suitability for use in plenum spaces where air circulation occurs.

Standards

This cable meets TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/TIA-942-B standards, ensuring interoperability and performance within certified network architectures.
