Description

Panduit FZ2RPU1U1NNM013 Opti-Core® OM4 2F 2MM PC Ofnp LC Uniboot Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit FZ2RPU1U1NNM013 is a 13-meter (42.65 ft) OM4 duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-speed data center applications. Its uniboot pull-boot connector design simplifies cable management by allowing both fibers to be terminated into a single duplex connector, reducing cable bulk and simplifying routing in dense environments. This cord is ideal for interconnects and cross-connects within telecommunications rooms, data centers, and equipment distribution areas, ensuring reliable signal transmission for network applications.

Compatibility

This patch cord is designed for use with equipment featuring duplex LC connectors. It is suitable for interconnecting pre-terminated cassettes in main distribution, horizontal distribution, and equipment distribution areas within enterprise and data center network architectures. The OM4 fiber type supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters and 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters, making it compatible with high-bandwidth networking equipment.

Installation Notes

The uniboot design simplifies termination and management. The plenum (OFNP) rating indicates suitability for use in air-handling spaces, meeting stringent fire safety codes for indoor installations. Ensure proper connector cleaning before mating to maintain optimal signal integrity and prevent performance degradation.
