Description

Panduit FZ2RPU1U1NNM007 OM4 Uniboot LC Fiber Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit Opti-Core® FZ2RPU1U1NNM007 is a 23-foot (7-meter) OM4 duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-bandwidth interconnects in data centers and telecommunications rooms. Its uniboot design simplifies cable management by consolidating two fibers into a single pull-boot connector, reducing port count and installation complexity. The plenum (OFNP) rating ensures compliance for use in air-handling spaces, making it suitable for critical infrastructure deployments.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered to connect equipment utilizing LC duplex connectors. It is compatible with standard fiber optic patch panels, network switches, servers, and transceivers that support OM4 multimode fiber. The specific uniboot design is intended for direct connection between devices or distribution points within Panduit's Opti-Core® fiber optic systems and other infrastructure adhering to TIA/EIA-568-C.3 and ISO/IEC 11801 standards.

Installation Notes

The uniboot connector features a pull-boot mechanism for easy insertion and removal, and polarity reversal without requiring re-termination. Ensure the LC duplex connectors are clean before insertion to maintain optimal signal integrity. The 50-micron core diameter of the OM4 fiber supports high-speed data transmission up to 100 Gbps over shorter distances, ideal for switch-to-switch or server-to-switch links within a rack or row. The aqua color clearly identifies it as OM4 fiber.
