Description

Panduit FZ2RPU1ZNNNM015 OM4 Fiber Patch Cable

Overview

The Panduit FZ2RPU1ZNNNM015 is a 15-meter (49.2 ft) OM4 multimode fiber optic patch cable designed for high-speed data transmission in demanding environments. Its uniboot design simplifies cable management by housing two fibers within a single jacket, reducing clutter and installation time. The OFNP plenum rating makes it suitable for installation in air-handling spaces, addressing critical fire safety codes. This cable provides a pre-terminated infrastructure solution for rapid deployment in data centers, telecommunications rooms, and equipment distribution areas.

Compatibility

This cable utilizes LC duplex connectors, compatible with standard LC duplex ports found on network switches, servers, transceivers (SFP, SFP+, QSFP+), and patch panels. The OM4 fiber type supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters and 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters, making it suitable for high-bandwidth applications within enterprise and data center networks. It meets TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/TIA-942-B standards.

Installation Notes

The uniboot design requires careful handling to ensure proper polarity is maintained during connection. The 2mm outer jacket diameter is designed for high-density environments. Ensure connectors are clean before mating to prevent signal degradation. The OFNP rating signifies suitability for plenum spaces, but local building codes should always be consulted.
