Description

Panduit FZ2RLU1U1NNM047 OM4 Fiber Patch Cable

Overview

The Panduit FZ2RLU1U1NNM047 is a 47-meter (154.2 ft) OM4 multimode fiber optic patch cable designed for high-density data center and telecommunications room deployments. Its uniboot configuration with LC duplex connectors enables rapid installation and efficient cable management by consolidating two fibers into a single cable jacket, reducing port count and complexity. This cable is built with Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) jacketing, crucial for plenum spaces and environments where fire safety is paramount.

Compatibility

This cable is engineered for use with standard LC duplex fiber optic ports found in network switches, servers, transceivers (SFP, SFP+, QSFP+), and patch panels. It is suitable for any application requiring OM4 multimode connectivity, including 10GbE, 40GbE, and 100GbE Ethernet, as well as Fibre Channel. The QuickNet™ system is designed for interoperability within Panduit's structured cabling ecosystem.

Installation Notes

The uniboot design simplifies installation by allowing polarity reversal in the field without re-terminating connectors. Ensure the connectors are clean before insertion into ports to maintain signal integrity. The LSZH rating means it can be used in air-handling spaces, but always verify local building codes and fire safety regulations. The 47-meter length is suitable for longer runs between racks or zones in a data center.

Standards

This Panduit fiber optic cable adheres to key industry standards, including TIA-568.3-D, ISO/IEC 11801, and ANSI/TIA-942-B, ensuring interoperability and performance within compliant network infrastructures.
