Description

Panduit FZ2RLU1U1NNM019 OM4 Fiber Patch Cord

Overview

The Panduit FZ2RLU1U1NNM019 is a 19-meter (62.33 ft) OM4 duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-density data center and enterprise networking applications. Its uniboot design with pull-boot connectors simplifies installation and management by consolidating two fibers into a single 2.0mm LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) jacketed cable, reducing cable clutter and improving airflow. This specific cord is configured A-to-B for direct patching between equipment or cassettes.

Compatibility

This patch cord utilizes standard LC Duplex connectors, making it compatible with a wide range of networking equipment, fiber optic cassettes, patch panels, and transceivers that support LC connections. The OM4 fiber type is optimized for 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters and 40/100 Gigabit Ethernet up to 100 meters, commonly found in enterprise data centers and high-performance network backbones.

Installation Notes

The uniboot design simplifies polarity management and reduces the number of connectors required. The pull-boot connectors provide strain relief and a grip for easy insertion and removal. The LSZH jacket material is specified for installations where plenum-rated cable is not required, offering reduced smoke and halogen emission in case of fire. Ensure the connected equipment and patch panels support OM4 fiber specifications for optimal performance.
