Description

Panduit FS2RLU1U1NNM016 Fiber Optic Cable

Overview

The Panduit FS2RLU1U1NNM016 is a 16-meter (52.49 ft) OM4+ duplex fiber optic patch cord designed for high-density data center and telecommunications room interconnections. It features LC Uniboot connectors with a pull-boot design for simplified polarity reversal and a 2.0mm LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) cable jacket, making it suitable for plenum spaces and environments where fire safety is critical. This cable offers ultra-low insertion loss, a key factor for maintaining signal integrity in demanding network architectures.

Compatibility

This patch cord is engineered for use within Panduit's fiber optic systems, specifically supporting LC Duplex to LC Duplex connections. It is compatible with standard fiber optic network equipment, including switches, routers, servers, and cassettes that utilize LC duplex connectors. The OM4+ rating ensures compatibility with 10 Gbps, 40 Gbps, and 100 Gbps Ethernet standards, and is backward compatible with OM3 infrastructure.

Installation Notes

The LC Uniboot connector design allows for a single 2.0mm cable to carry both transmit and receive fibers, simplifying cable management and reducing bundle size. Polarity can be reversed without re-terminating the connector by manipulating the pull-boot mechanism. The LSZH jacket meets flammability standards, but ensure proper ventilation in high-density deployments to manage heat.
